Sažetak
This paper presents an approach to the problem of informational modeling of a transport network. It should be pointed out that the authors tried to make a model describing a transport network elements in all network layers and environments (SDH, PDH; optical and electrical network elements) using the same methodology. The information system developed on the basis of information modeling of a transport network can be used for configuration network monitoring and management. In this paper we will restrict the area of our interest and focus on the basic element to describe particular network functions - a transport network element.
