Sažetak
Standard is a thing or quality or specification by which something may be tested or measured. Developing of standards is organized on global, international level, existing also on national level, well harmonized with international one. International developers are organizations working on this matter, like International Standards Organization (ISO) or the European Committee for Standardisation (Comité Européen de Normalisation – CEN). Standards in health and medical informatics are means enabling to access patient health record, read it or add some new data relevant for other health care providers taking care about patient. Bad medical informatics can kill patient, and standardization in the field can help that this not happen.
