Sažetak
Dear readers! International scientific visibility is one of the greatest achievements of every scientist that strives to results that are read and cited by fellow scientists. By entering the EBSCO database, Acta Stomatologica Croatica (ASCRO) has become more available to the American scientists, whose daily visits to ASCRO online reach up to 20%. Croatian dental scientist are not only in this segment of scientific information exchange, for some of them have invited and hosted meetings of two renowned international associations at home: European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD) held its meeting in May/June in Dubrovnik, and Association of Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) held its annual meeting in Zagreb in September. Great turn-out by the dentists from all over the world was sustained by the activity of the local scientific community as well as by the attractions and beauty of both cities. Croatian oral sciences have received yet another confirmation at the Pan European Federation of the IADR (PEF IADR) that was held in London from 10th to 12th September. One of the most prominent Croatian scientists, member of the Editorial Board of ASCRO, was elected as a member of the Board of the Continental European Division (CED). It is my great pleasure and honor to congratulate our colleague Zrinka Tarle on the entrance to the scientific heights of the world's most known scientific association. To finish off this editorial I would like to present nine papers that have earned to be included in this month's number owing to their quality and attraction and also to announce the 4th International Congress of the Croatian Dental Society and 1st Congress of Oral Medicine and Pathology that are going to be held in Zagreb from 13th to 15th November.
