Sažetak
Constant Bit Rate (CBR) Permanent Virtual Path (PVP) ATM network will be the first stage in introduction of ATM in public domain. This concept introduces many problems in network design process. The greatest problem is resource utilization maximization problem, caused by indivisibility of CBR PVP cell flow. In order to obtain the highest possible utilization, breaking of CBR PVP flow in several components (PVP separation) is necessary. In this paper we present a simple cell-level mechanism for separation of CBR PVP flow and give basic implementation guidelines as well as few calculation results.
