Sažetak
In this paper, the heat resistance trough a number of single jersey fabrics is investigated. The fabrics were produced using yarns of counts 12, 14, 17 and 20 tex. The vertical density was kept constant during the knitting with tolerance ± 0.5 loops per one centimeter. Produced fabrics were finished using the same commercial recipe. The heat resistance (Rct) was measured using the sweating guarded hotplate. The results of heat resistance were observed for all fabrics, as well as separately for raw and finished fabrics. The changes of heat resistance due to finishing process were discussed by means of fabric structural parameters.
