Sažetak
This work explains a group of mind and verbal processes as a set of algorithms. The brain performs an inexact compression of stories into a Verbal Quantum. The reconstructed story is different every time, though the meaning is preserved and new stories and thoughts are created. This compression emerges from the dynamic interactions between flocks of agents. The agents from a variety of compression processors, dealing with the Mental Symbols, Elements and Trees, and with the causal links. Agents operate in the fractal time and are regulated by the Quantum Mind barrier and by BRAMA protocol. Evoked potentials have been analyzed to identify the BRAMA waves. The Reciprocal Adjustment, Self Organized Network, REASON, performs an iterative, nested search: to recognize the story, it is necessary to know the words ; to recognize the word, it is necessary to know the story. Which solution REASON finds, depends on the initial approximation. The massively parallel creative search bounces around before finally converging to a solution. In the time scale from 1 ms to 1 s, the creative search is directed back and forth between the cortical columns, thalamus and basal ganglia. It links the features, chunks and associations and it supports the wandering between the stories and creation of new stories. The same principes could be used for the communicaton, process and traffic monitoring, intelligent operator-computer interface, self-organized user-friendly network browser. The implementation environment depends on the portability and speed requirements, and includes JAVA, CORBA, optimized C, and multimedia compression standards MPEG1 to MPEG7.
