Sažetak
In the period from 2000 to 2007 74 patients with brain abscess were hospitalized in Hospital for Infectious disease, and operated on in Department of Neurosurgery. The 44 patients were treated radicaly (craniotomy and abscess removal) and 30 less invasive (stereotactic punction and aspiration). The choice of neurosurgical procedue did not have impact on the outcome of treatment.
