Sažetak
Narrow fabrics are an indispensable part of the technical textile sector. They are used in diverse sectors of industry – automotive, aerospace, marine, military, also in electronics, medicine, environment, furniture sectors and etc. This paper deals with flame retardants for synthetic high density narrow textiles for military purpose. Samples were treated with organic phosphorous-based flame retardant with and without natural zeolite addition, by using continues pad-dry procedure in Mercedes-Benz stenter Natural zeolites are crystalline aluminosilicates with a unique adsorption, cation exchange and catalytic properties that have multiple uses in industry. The most important phase of any wet finishing process is good bath absorption what in the case of high density textiles is not easy to reach.
