U ovom radu opisano je kako klimatske promjene utje u na dosadaanje na ine uvanja uskladiatenih proizvoda. Istra~ivanje je provedeno u sklopu  Belja d.d, PC Mlin (koncern  Agrokor ), Beli Manastir. Analizirani su podaci za 2005., 2006. i 2007. tijekom ~etve, prijema i skladiatenja paenice. Usporeivana je koli ina zaprimljene paenice, odnos prirodno suhe i dosuaivane paenice, vremensko razdoblje prijema i iaenja paenice, dosuaivanje paenice, te temperature zrna paenice od ~etve do poslije fumigacije. Poviaene ljetne temperature zraka i na naaem podru ju, mogle bi biti posljedica globalnog zatopljenja, ato direktno uvjetuje pomicanje rokova ~etve, te porast temperature paeni nog zrna. S jedne strane, smanjuju su troakovi suaenja i dosuaivanja, dok s druge strane, poveava se potreba za ulaganjem u sisteme umjetnog hlaenja zrna. Ovako topla uskladiatena paenica lako je podlo~na intenziviranju negativnih fizioloakih procesa u zrnu, te predstavlja idealan medij za razvoj termofilnih skladianih atetnika, ato direktno uvjetuje vee troakove u zaatiti uskladiatenih proizvoda, odnosno fumigacije. This paper describes influence of climatic changes to the methods of stored products preservation used in practice so far. The study was carried out in the facilities of Belje d. d. PC Mlin, (Agrokor concern), Beli Manastir. Analysed data were collected during 2005, 2006, and 2007 in harvest time, delivery, and wheat storing. Quality of the delivered wheat, relation between natural dry and re-dried wheat, time period of delivery and wheat cleaning, wheat re-drying, and wheat grain temperature from harvest to the post-fumigation period have been compared. Increased summer temperatures in our area could be result of global warming that directly delay the time of harvest, and increase wheat grain temperature. Although the expenses of drying and re-drying become lower, there is an increasing awareness for investment in the systems for artificially-cooled grain. Such warm stored wheat is easily exposed to intensifying negative physiological processes in grain, and become an ideal medium for development of thermophilus stored pests, which directly causes higher expenses in stored product protection, and fumigation.
