Sažetak
Double fertilization in flowering plants requires intercellular signalling evens between many intarection partners as well as the formation of highly polarized v+cell structures. 110 years after discovery of double fertilization we are finally beginning to decipher the underlaying molecular events after first key players invoved in various processes such as proteins involved in asymmetric cell division.
