Sažetak
Crude oil consumption and production capacity are among the most important issues today all over the world. As the world reaches limits of crude oil production capacity, there will be both struggles and real economic incentives forcing change in transportation fuels, as well as in engine and drive train technologies. There are many choices which can actually make things better environmentally and economically. Unfortunately, the best clean, efficient and cost-effective choice is not yet found. But, all experts agree that is the last minute to think that we are poor with crude oil consumption and requirements over growing every day. We slaughter our planet with emission of carbon dioxide and NOx, as well. So, the good beginning is to make more efficient energy consumer. One of them is hybrid technology especially hydraulic hybrids. This article is an effort to represent the advantages of hydraulic hybrid technology over hybrid electric technology, and the state of development at the various actors involved in this technology.
