Sažetak
A projection on a complex Banach space is called bicircular if its linear combinations with the complementary projection having coefficients of modulus one are isometries. This notion is generalized as follows. A projection P on a complex Banach space is called a generalized bicircular projection if P+w(I-P) is an isometry for some complex unit w not equal to 1. Some recent results on these mappings will be presented.
