Sažetak
We present an application of the optimality criteria method to the inverse problem for wave equation, interpreted as an optimal design problem. The fi rst step is to relax the original problem by the homogenisation method, introduced by Murat and Tartar, and to acquire the necessary conditions of optimality. They are the basis for the optimality criteria method for numerical solution, which can be easily implemented.
