Sažetak
A few new condensed heterocyclic quinolones from benzo(b)thieno- and thieno(2, 3-b)thienyl- series were prepared by multistep and photochemical synthesis, with specific substituents in benzene and thiophene nucleus as well as in the quinolone nucleus. All compounds were tested in vitro for their cytoststic activities on human fibroblast cell line WI-38 and on the following malignant human tumor cell lines: cervical carcinoma(HeLa). breast carcinoma(MCF-7), colon carcinoma (CaCo-2), pancreatic carcinoma(MIA PaCa-2), laryngeal carcinoma(Hep-2) and melanoma(HBL).
