Sažetak
Efficient usage of energy is important for sustainable development in power engineering, both from the ecological and from the economic as well as social aspects. Cogeneration power plants on the fossil fuels with installed steam turbines for combined heat and power production (CHP turbines) present plants in which it is possible to attain high energy efficiency by simultaneous production of electric power and heat. For the needs of studying the CHP turbines operation in specific conditions of simultaneous production of electric power and heat, with the aim of further increase of their energy efficiency, an original computational program for determination of the operating regimes for different types of CHP turbines has been developed. This paper presents the results of calculation for some characteristic operation regimes of the 120 MW CHP turbine installed in the Cogeneration Power Plant Zagreb (TE-TO Zagreb).
