Sažetak
Oximes, members of the family of aralkyl derivatives of pyridinium chloride, are known as efficient protectors of human blood cholinesterase upon phosphorylation by organophosphorous poisons such as pesticides and warfare agents [1]. Their biological functions and metabolizing mechanisms in living systems are usually related to their structure and chelating ability. The interest in studing the reactions with aquapentacyanoferrate(II) ion, [Fe(CN)5H2O]3-, is associated with the fact that it represents a good model of biologically important macromolecules with labile sixth coordination site and a good probe for the binding properties of several functional groups. Trying to give more insight into the correlation between the chemical structure and the coordination model of examined oximes, complexes of [Fe(CN)5L]n- type (L = FEPA-4, BPA-4 and BEPA-4), were isolated and characterized by means of elemental and thermogravimetric analysis and by electronic and vibrational spectroscopy. The reactions of oximes with [Fe(CN)5H2O]3- ion in aqueous solution at pH range 4-9, occurred through an aqua substitution pathway, were prooved by means of electronic spectroscopy. Observed MLCT absorption bands for the Fe – ligand coordination and structures of used ligands are shown in table 1. Table 1. The examined oxime ligands and MLCT bands of formed complex ions 1.
