Sažetak
This paper is discussing the meaning and importance of competitiveness in general, same as the methods of its expression and measurement with CEE construction industry in focus. For those markets, correlation has been put between construction industry performance and total economy after initial post transitional investment bubble. Some aspects of competitiveness of construction industry in comparison with other industries will be discussed. Issue of domestic competitiveness and export competitiveness has been introduced.
