Sažetak
The paper deals with the determination and analysis of solid spur gear tooth deformation. The displacements of the tip loaded tooth mid-plane were calculated by means of 3D Finite Element Method. The tooth facewidth value was varied to bring out the difference between actual displacements and its distribution along the tooth face, related to uniform one assumed by 2D approach. The influence of the gear geometry was also taken into account by the number of the gear teeth and addendum modification.
