Sažetak
Fifty volunteers of various educational profile are included in ongoing project of psychosocial support to refugees and displaced persons from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina who are settled in Rijeka region. A lot of them passed through various traumatic events ; a few hundreds of them were prisoners of war. After almost three years working with them in places they are now living in (camps, hotels, etc.), helpers are showing various reactions to their work with psychotraumatised persons. By using structured questionnaire, we tried to find out in wich way motivation, education, length, and form of work influence the help-givers who are working with psychotraumatised persons, when all of them are still in a war situation.
