Sažetak
The work with traumatized persons, especially with the victims of torture, confronts therapists with not only human sufferings and mourning proces but with all the evil that a man may cause to another man. All these, after some time neccessarily leaves some traces on the therapists. When the number of traumatized persons increases to such a number, as it is a cause in war, therapists are very often swamped and they "burn it out" in various ways. In the article are described our experience and relations towards displaced people, persons who developed some form of PTSD, and with prisoners of the war during the war in Croatia.
