Sažetak
Marinas are one of the most important spots for nautical tourists and they are, besides advantages given by nature, crucial carriers of the nautical tourism in Croatia. On the certain level of communication they participate in impression at each individual as well as influence overall image of nautical tourism of the country. Therefore all marinas of Croatia should send common message to their visitors in order to reach more nautical tourists than if actions are taken by each marina individually. One of ways to do so is through visual identity of emerging brand Croatian Marinas. The visualization of brand Croatian Marinas and its application on the Internet as a powerful information carrier helps possible nautical tourist to easily remember and recall visual appearance/feeling/emotion that results in higher satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore elements mostly used in symbols of marinas of Croatia will be compared with symbols from marinas in most competitive countries. The same will be done with the colour used in symbols and visual identities since it is differentiation tool as well. This research recognised brand Croatian Marinas as standing out among other competitive countries in terms of visual appearance.
