Sažetak
Manufacturing significance of optical properties of paper motivates us to construct a theoretical approach which could be used to determine the reflection and dispersion of light from paper surface. The Monte Carlo method was used as a frame within we were able to describe the diffuse scattering of light which suffers multiple subsurface reflections. Monte Carlo simulation of photon propagation offers a flexible, but also rigorous approach to transport of photons in a medium. Our model, based on macroscopic optical properties of the paper components, describes this problem more physically plausible and gives possibility to model some desired optical properties of paper without making the actual experiment.
