Sažetak
As Rector of Rijeka University (RIU) in Croatia, I wish to share our pleasant experience with the Salzburg Seminar Visiting Advisors Program (VAP). Their visit contributed to the process of creating a positive atmosphere by which to start restructuring the University in this country-in-transition that still suffers from the consequences of prolonged war.
