Sažetak
From the aspect of design, changes in the way the users live and work, as well as changes in their view of aesthetics, cause changes in their requirements, needs, wishes and expectations. Those changes significantly influence the success of a product on the market and its usage. It is necessary to monitor such changes and apply them in each project when developing new products. The opinion poll conducted among users has determined some of the requirements, needs and expectations that they have concerning solid wood furniture. The results of the survey can be used as guidelines for development and design of new solid wood products. The results also show how much the products on the local market fulfil real, up-to-date needs of the users.
