Sažetak
In searching the conditions on the data $(p_i, t_i, f_i)$, $i=1, \ldots, m$, which ensure the solvability of some nonlinear least squares problem, the conditions of the so called preponderant increase often appers. In this paper we show that this condition is equivalent to a certain Tchebycheff's inequality. The class of data with the property of prenderant incerase is analysed in order to get the solvability of some special least square problems.
