Sažetak
Discussion of the some objections to the F-F hybrid concept. Arguments are presented to show that with realistic mechanisms hazards from F-F hybrids are not essentialy higher then from pure fusion system. Should pure fusion systems be unattainable, F-F hybrid systems offer the possibility of U 238 and Th 232 utilisation, i.e., the release of practically unlimited amounts of energy, but without the risks associated with the very high power density of crical core of fast breeder reactors.
