Sažetak
Guberina's thought and theory forms and guides the verbotonal rehabilitation. The nature and the linguistics of speech share the values of the spoken langugage. Somatosensory listening (through the body) is only one of the ways through which the acoustic message is sent: the whole spatioception system, and not only the ear, is included in the rehabilitation of the deaf. Corresponding languages of the linguistics of speech and space-grammar are under mutual polysensory influence and need a coordinated development. The child in rehabilitation is, like any other person, into affection. Speech message is processed on three levels by the vestibular organ which is the main integrator and harmonizer of spatioception. Optimals of the speech sound and the optimal field of a child's hearing are changing according to the external and internal conditions thus creating the transfer through which the sensory sister transfers the data processing from the communication noise into the area of lesser effert. Biological basis of thought and speech should be stimulated in the preverbal phase. The mechanoreceptors of touch, proprioception, vestibuloception, hearing and sight perceive the touch, the movement, the sound, the posture, the gaze and the picture. They send messages into the integration area of the brainstem for the three basic spatial perceptions: stereognosis, stereophony and stereopsis which are the three parts of the core structure - spatioceptive circle. This region spreads to the telencephalic level where the right-hemisphere deep langugage structure is connected to the surface left-hemisphere semantic structure via transformation structure. These are the roots, but the core roots are the holism of the nature, the sincere humanism, and the deepest one is the third root - the poetic vision. That kind of scheme and moral attitude includes various types of rehabilitation procedures harmonizing together like well fitted modules (files): vestibular exercises, psychomotor development, intuitive parents'tender care, physical therapy and training, traditional games and stories, phonetic rhythmics, body harmony, speech pathology therapy, cochlear implant rehabilitation, the brainstem implant rehabilitation, etc. The modules form a whole and are parts of the whole, otherwise the system cannot function. The above mentioned modules as well as those not mentioned grow and flourish as the branches of the verbotonal tree which is nourished through its rotts and the protruding leaves as well. They give and they receive.
