Sažetak
Front line soldiers are a population especially exposed to psychotraumas. Therefore, presence of a psychiatrist among them on the frontline will enable faster and more effective psychological aid to those suffering from psychical traumas. Numerous experiences reported from Vietnam and Lebanese wars presented the same opinion. With time the form of organization service that would meet all the tasks required has been modified, largely depending on the situation on the battlefield and the ever growing experiences. Modification of liaison approach with psychotherapeutic interventions, along with assistance rendered by the brigade psychologist, has proved to be the appropriate model
