Sažetak
The development of computer technology is changing the world as we know it on a daily basis. However, the enhanced growth hides many obstacles for those already facing difficulties. Technology becomes more advanced, but does its usage at the same time become more adjusted and intuitive to the end user, especially disabled people? This issue opens a number of questions concerning the appropriateness and usability of modern multimedia (web pages, video games, software) in relation to children with disabilities. In a classroom setting, assistive technology devices can help students with visual, physical and cognitive disabilities to access computers. Using computer technology, these individuals are able to talk, work and learn in situations where their opportunities were once extremely limited
