Sažetak
: The paper describes the investigation results found on the basis of a computer-aided analysis of female body figures with different statures. A 3D body scanner was used to record the body of a selected sample of subjects in defined sitting position. A comprehensive analysis of computer 3D body models was made whereby models were observed from different projections. As a consequence a complete computer-aided 3D visualization of an individual body part of the model was made possible, and it enables an entire visual perception of a person's body form. Subsequently, the bodies of the same sample of subjects in several different postures simulating moving body position were recorded. Based on the recordings drawings of female bodies were made that are used to make the design of a fashion figure on the basis of which a garment collection for a particular type is designed. Artistic designs of the garment collection are adapted to a specific body type and are designed in compliance with the rules of visual correction of human body. The purpose of the investigation is to design a garment in accordance with the rules of visual correction of human body which will optimally hide minor body deficiencies and emphasize the advantages of a specific female body type.
