Sažetak
Hotel Lone is located in town Rovinj at the north-west shore of Istrian peninsula. This five star luxury business hotel will have 240 rooms, 9 luxurious apartments and one presidential apartment. It also has one of the biggest congress hall on Adriatic cost with capacity for 600 persons. Construction will start after tourist season at autumn of the year 2008 and will finish in the summer 2009. The structure will be constructed of in-situ made reinforced concrete. Complex geometry and architects desire to have big open spaces caused considerable structural design problems. This paper describes main structural elements of building, problems noticed during structural design and methods used for solving such problems.
