Sažetak
Noise and dynamic range of low-pass (LP) active RC and OTA-C 2nd-order filter sections, as well as various high-order filter structures are analyzed. Different 2nd-order LP bipolar OTA-C filter sections are compared to Sallen and Key (SAK) section. Noise voltage spectral density, RMS noise voltage and dynamic range are calculated. The best tuneability and noise performance for low level signal processing has the general 2nd-order OTA-C filter section (GFS). Two high-order structures based on GFS and SAK sections are analyzed as well. Better noise figure resulted in the cascade structure designed with OTA-C sections.
