Sažetak
The resonance scattering from Sn of 1.22 MeV 118Sn and 120Sn gamma rays was observed using the recoil of previous transtion and the additional thermal broadening to restore the recoil losses. From the attenuation factor measured in self-absorption experiment the mean life of the 1.22 MeV level in 118Sn was found to be (0.635+/-0.055)psec, while for the mean life of the 1.18 MeV level in 120Sn the value of (1.26+/-0.24) psec was obtained.
