Sažetak
This book contains papers presented during the Chinese-Croatian Joint Colloquium on LONG ARCH BRIDGES on Brijuni Islands, Croatia, 10-14 July 2008. The Colloquium was organized by University of Zagreb - Faculty of Civil Engineering and Fuzhou University - College of Civil Engineering, based on bilateral project under the title "Exploring the limits of reinforced concrete arch bridges", supporteded by both Chinese and Croatian ministry of Science. The Colloquium was aimed at exchanging experiences and presenting main achievements in the area of Arch Bridges Engineering among engineers from China and Croatia. The proceeding contains the state-of-the-art of the arch bridges at present, with Chinese contributions on latest Chinese achievements (including concrete, CFST and steel arch bridges) and Croatian contributions on mainly Croatian and some significant European arch bridges.
