Sažetak
The influence of magnetic field on propagation of light has been a subject of a number of investigations. Paper describes the experiment which used Moesbauer radiation from Cobalt 57 nuclei to put the improved limit on the possible velocity splitting of gamma-rays of different circular polarization in transverse magnetic field. Such effect is theoretically expected to follow from the polarization of vacuum. Upper limit obtained in the experiment is about 10 to -4 m/sec.
