Sažetak
During some of the last fifteen years in the coastal part of Croatia it was observed that scarab beetles from the subfamily Cetoniinae cause damages to ripening peaches. With further analysis it was shown that these species were Cetonia aurata and Potosia cuprea. In the year 2007 we have been monitoring their appearance and population dynamics, and we calculated the damages they made. This has been done on two locations in Zadar, Ravni kotari region. The Csalomon® ; ; VARb3k traps with baits consisting of 100 µ ; ; l phenethyl alkohol + 100 µ ; ; l methyl eugenol + 100 µ ; ; l trans anethol were used. The total number of trapped beetles on two locations was 569 pcs. of Cetonia aurata and 200 pcs of Potosia cuprea. The damage percentage was from 0 % up to 7 %.
