Sažetak
Recycling possibilities should be considered during all stages of the design process. In the requirements list, demands and wishes relevant to recycling should be included and recycling should be considered during the selection and arrangement of functions in the function structure (during the selection of the working principle and the working structure in conceptual design) and when establishing the construction structure. In embodiment design of household appliances for recycling the following pre-processing and reconditioning criteria should be considered: ease of disassembly and reassembly using suitable joining and fastening techniques, rework possibilities, choice of materials that do not conflict with reprocessing and minimise corrosion, ease of testing and sorting and access for cleaning. In detail design of household appliances for recycling the planned recycling strategies and technologies should be defined by labelling the recycling properties based on the product structure.
