Sažetak
Paper presents an information on the situation in former Yugoslavia in early 1991, before the formal break up, when Serbian leaders tried to use Yugoslav army and other institutions for achievment of domination. Situation was compared with the time before the Second World War when Germany seized parts of Czechoslovakia. Appeasement of aggression proved to be the wrong policy. Author urges Pugwash to take decisive stand against the use of military force to stop democratic transformations in Eastern Europe.
