Sažetak
Member-by-member structural models are commonly used in non-linear seismic analysis of frame structures. Establishing the primary force- displacement curves for individual elements is the most important part of analysis. To define these values two approaches are commonly used: stress-strain and empirical approach. In this paper we have tried to provide an unbiased comparison of results obtained by both methods by using standard values. The calculated responses are evaluated against the experimental and linear elastic results.
