Sažetak
The importance of introducing on-line control in garment sewing is discussed. A contemporary measuring system for the determination of thread tension, sewing needle penetration force and vertical and horizontal force of the presser foot is described. Employing the knowledge and variations of influential parameters, the process of garment sewing can be made considerably more rational and be thus improved.
