Sažetak
The project “ Library services of the persons with special needs determining the problem of reading and writing causing the changes in the behaviour of juvenile in the young offenders institutions” . The research of the 13 institutions, libraries was conducted. It shows that according to Croatian standard for school libraries non of them has an adequate library. The results show that 20-40% children and young adults have dyslexia or some other difficulty in reading and writing. This project is an example of the kind of methodology that can be applied in creation of National strategy for library service to persons with special needs and disabilities in Croatia with programs logobibliotherapy and using, easy-to-read materials.
