Sažetak
The paper examines whether a literary narrative contains a category which corresponds to the concept of scale (i.e. close up, medium shot, etc.) in the motion-picture. There have been attempts to trace down the elements of a literary narrative work which correspond to the concept of scale in the motion-picture. Analysis of children?s literature narratives, which in addition to being focused on action rely on the depiction of event from children?s point of view has provided us with a possibility of a more direct approach to this problem. Apart from analyzing under which conditions it is possible to discuss scale in the children?s narrative, the paper will try to single out the properties of such transposition. The analysis will show that in the narrative work scale can be expressed not only by visual data but also by data obtained by other senses.
