Sažetak
This research starts with an acknowledgement that developed countries have been going through consumer changes of behaviour reflected in the changed allocation of the disposable budget of the hausehold sector. In a final observation based on teoretical and empirical analyses on the pattern of development countries and Croatia, the factors infuencing the consumer's selection are identified, and tendencies of personal consumption in Croatia and other countries in trasition are given.
