Sažetak
There are several factors to be considered while creating anchorage area for cruising ships. Mandatory elements included in the analyses of the anchorage area are: safety factor, anchorage area, occupancy factor and legal issues. Considering many specifics of the city of Dubrovnik and surrounding area some new principles had to be included in order to find the most convenient solutions for new anchorage area.
