Sažetak
The stress investigation performed by means of 3D Finite Element Method has enabled the insight into the actual state of the stress in spur tooth fillet. The values of equivalent Von Mises stress and tangential stress component have been examined for the gears of various geometrical parameters: the number of the teeth, addendum modification factor, the rim thickness and the tooth facewidth. These stresses have been compared with the corresponding fillet stress obtained in accordance to the standard ISO/DIN based upon 2D approach.
