Sažetak
Transromanica has been established as an INTERREG III B CADSES-project from 2003 to 2006. Five European regions (the German federal states of Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, the province of Modena/Italy, the state of Carinthia/Austria, and Slovenia) have federated to build a Romanesque network of routes and itineraries in Europe. It aims at elaborating the common heritage as a connecting element of European Culture ; develop it as marketing motive for cultural and international tourism and thereby enhancing the attractiveness of cities and regions. On March 8, 2008, in Berlin, Inaugural Meeting of Transromanica Scientific-Advisory Board (SAB) and Transromanica Executive Committee was held. On first meeting of SAB in Berlin the following tasks have been executed: adoption of rules of procedure for SAB ; definition of criteria and procedure for selection of highlights and partners in new partner regions ; support in development of new INTERREG-proposal ; conception of networking as Transromanica research and information centre, also regarding exchange of students, summer schools. Besides SAB meeting, there were also talks about achievements since foundation of society ; setting priorities within the action plan (especially Transromanica application for the next funding period in INTERREG IV B from April 2008 ‘ till March 2001, with total costs of 2.1 M € .) ; discussions of budget plan ; designation of cash auditor ; convening of the general meeting and, finally, presentation of the new highlight sites in Spain, Serbia and France.
