Sažetak
The stress analysis of spur gear was performed by means of three-dimensional Finite Element Method. On the basis of the determined distribution along the tooth facewidth, the obtained stress values in the tooth fillet area were compared with the corresponding one in accordance to the calculation procedure proposed by the standards ISO/DIN. The established values of the stress concentration factors were investigated in relation to the actual tooth facewidth, the rim thickness and the gear size, to point out the possibilities of conventional stress calculations improvement.
