Sažetak
On the 27 August 2008, a 368 mm total length (Lt, weight W= 634 g) specimen of the blue runner Caranx crysos, was caught by spear gun, on the shallow Čivran (Červar Porat), between Poreč and Novigrad (northern Adriatic, Croatian coast, peninsula Istra) (45016’ 39’ ’ N 13034’ 41’ ’ E) at approximately 8 m depth. This is the first record for the Adriatic Sea, and the northernmost record of this species in the Mediterranean area.
