Sažetak
The compound [NH_4][(CH_3)_2NH_2]_2[Ta(C_2O_4)_4]x2.5H_2O has been synthesized and characterized by elemental and TG/DTA analyses, IR spectroscopy and by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. The structure comprises the [Ta(C_2O_4)_4]3- anion, [NH_4]+ and [(CH_3)_2NH_2]+ cations and crystallization water molecules. The [Ta(C_2O_4)_4]3- anion represents the missing member in the tetra(oxalato) [M(C_2O_4)_4]n- (n = 3, 4) chemistry of the group 4 and 5 metals from the second and third series of the transition elements.
