Sažetak
For the purpose of developing the procedure for fatigue design of ship structures an extensive comparison study of fatigue strength assessment of hull structures has been performed by the IACS members. This report describes the important issues discussed, some conclusions and agreements reached by the project task group, and more importantly indicates most of the areas which have been identified as requiring further considerations. This concerns, in particular, the dynamic loads, which certainly are the basis not only for fatigue assessment but in general for other strength assessment as well.
